Refocussing offers a three-part training course specifically designed to train counsellors and pastors.

After completion of Refocussing Training together with on-going supervision for a specified period to evaluate and enhance their practice, as well as observing professional and ethical codes of conduct, practitioners will be awarded a Refocussing Practicing Diploma.

Adhering to principles of Refocussing ethics and practice including on going supervision entitles them to officially recognized as RF therapists.

• Refocussing Part One – a three day introductory course designed for anyone (over 16) to provide people with an experiential workshop that provides a comprehensive introduction to the theory and practice of Refocussing. This course is fun, very experiential and designed to allow people to experience God and learn how to use their God Spaces.
• Refocussing Part Two – is a 40 hour course + reading and supervision. This course follows on from part 1 to provide the detail and theoretical aspects of RF. Demonstrations are provided as well as first hand experience of learning and applying the Refocussing ‘interventions’. The seven foci-integration system is taught showing people how to facilitate people getting their previously ‘unmet needs’ identified (focussed on) and then attended to (refocussed on via the empowering presence of God using God Spaces). An adapted version of David Grove’s ‘Clean language’ is important learning in this process.
• Refocussing Part Three – A three-day course with supervisory follow-up that provides in-depth case studies detailing the various applications of Refocussing, especially with fear, phobias, anxiety disorders, depression, sexual abuse survivors, demonisation, mental-illness, couples work and so on.
• Refocussing Facilitators’ Training – This course is offered to those who are recognized RF therapists who would then like to go on and train others to use Refocussing in small groups (the life mapping curriculum; the self awareness series) or the counsellor training series – using the Refocussing teaching video series by Dr Diane Divett designed specifically to train Refocussing counsellors
• Small Group Leaders Course – A training course in how to use Refocussing in small groups is also available for those who are small group leaders
• Refocussing marriage enrichment courses: Diane and Hamish have been married for 35 years. They bring their years of personal experience from their own relationship and pastoral counselling of numerous marriages  to these alive and fun courses. As well, Diane offers a unique perspective as she details how Refocussing marriage therapy provides simple tools to break destructive patterns of behaviour.
• Refocussing for children; A comprehensive training and teaching programme for children’s church pastors and parents . Diane provides insights from her many years as a children’s pastor and many years as a primary school teacher.
